For safety reasons most users prefer to carpool only with verified users. Verification is a simple, voluntary process.
You can become verified by completing the steps outlined on this page.
Step 1: Contact Information Review
Review the correctness and completeness of your
contact information provided in your profile.
You must provide the following information:
- First name
- Last name
- Date of birth
- Phone
- Street address
- Suburb
- State
- Post code
Upon the successful completion of the verification process all of the above mentioned fields will be locked in. Unlocking them for editing will void your verified status and you will need to go through a new verification process.
Step 2: Proof Of Identity
Submit a clearly scanned image (or digital photo) of
one valid photo ID and one proof of address document.
Photo ID
All four edges must be clearly visible. Include back of the ID if the expiration date is located on the back. Accepted forms of photo ID include a drivers licence, passport or a proof of age card.
Proof of Address
Proof of address must be a full page copy of a recurring, monthly statement from the last 3 months with your address clearly visible on it. Submit a clearly scanned monthly statement that has been mailed to you (not printed from the internet). Accepted forms of proof of address include a phone bill, bank statement or credit card statement.
Submit both documents to verification@carpoolone.com.au with your verification ID in the message subject: VID
